Community Action of Rock & Walworth Counties Receive $5,000 from Ho-Chunk Nation

Community Action, Inc. of Rock and Walworth Counties received a $5,000 grant from the Ho-Chunk Nation, to support the Skills Enhancement Program.  The Skills Enhancement program is designed to increase the income and economic self-reliance of low-wage working households by helping adult members acquire the skills they need to obtain higher paying jobs in demand occupations.

A check presentation was held at the Community Action Pathways Center, located at #20 Eclipse Center, 600 Henry Avenue, Beloit, WI on Friday January 6th at 10:00 AM.  A tour of the facility and a brief reception followed the check presentation.

Planning and Development Director Marc Perry, Community Action Inc. Skills Enhancement Project Coordinator Sara Yule and Community Action Inc. Employment and Training Director Lynn Jones hold a check presented by Ho-Chunk Nation for $5,000 on Friday. The money will be used for Community Action's Skills Enhancement program.
